Nintendo has announced that the much anticipated Nintendo Switch Online service will launch September 2018. This is a bit later than the original early 2018 plans, so it is possible that they are reworking certain aspects of the service. Features like voice chat on the hardware itself as well as basic things like messaging are much requested and hopefully we see them come sooner rather than later. It is also unknown if this puts a hold on classic titles that are confirmed to be apart of the subscription. Due to this delay the service will remain free until September. For now, we will just have to keep waiting for additional details.
