Persona 3 Reload New Update Adds 8 Vocal Tracks, Team Stands Not Adding ‘Portable’ Female Protagonist

Last year, many were surprised by the sheer caliber of Persona 3 Reload at release. “Despite being a remake, Persona 3 Reload is undoubtedly at the forefront of mainline Persona titles. Fans have been asking for a re-imagining of Persona 3 for the longest time and Atlus has finally answered their calls.” Rectify Gaming scored the title a 9/10.

In the post-launch for Persona 3 Reload, we’ve witnessed additional content come to the game. Around September, the base game welcomed ‘Episode Aegis’ which further deepens the game’s universe. And, just this week Atlus & P-Studio is shipping Persona 3 Reload to Nintendo Switch 2 welcoming the game to Nintendo properly.

Now in celebration of the new update, Sega/Atlus have revealed that an additional 8 new vocal tracks are to be included in a new update for Persona 3 Reload. The update is applicable to all versions of the game including the new addition on Nintendo Switch 2. You can read the full track list below:

Vocals singer Yumi Kawamura also offered a message on the update: “It’s been a while! I’m truly overjoyed and grateful to be reunited with everyone again. Persona 3 is a treasure to me as well – I can’t help but feel excited. Old friends, will you fight alongside me once more? New friends, how about letting my songs aid you in battle? Let’s celebrate together.”

And although the new update brings many throwbacks to the remake title, there are other elements that are stuck in prior releases of Persona 3. Series general producer Kazuhisa Wada told Danfaminicogamer, via Automaton, that Kotone Shiomi is not in the crosshairs for Reload. “If you ask what we might have left unfinished in Persona 3 Reload, that would certainly be one answer – but the whole team is working together on many different initiatives so that fans have something to look forward to.”
