For majority of Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s anthology that has released in the past half decade, those entries have already been inaugurated on PC and received their respected console ports follow suit. Nintendo Switch even was granted the same treat as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well. However, not entirely all games have made it to consoles as of reporting.
In fact, Cawthon’s 2016 spin-off Sister’s Location still has yet to face the hopes of being included to the lineup of modern day hardware. However, that is about to change as a new rating has a appeared recently. On the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) website, the title is listed for PlayStation 4. Given an expected PEGI 12 rating, the game shows to have a plausible release date for later this fall.
Typically when a rating is submitted, publisher would dodge leaking it own property launch by listing the date as the timeframe it was submitted for the rating. However, with October on the rating, this might be the latter for this instance. This also does not happen to be the first time that a Five Nights at Freddy’s title has been discovered for console through solicited rating boards.
Previously, the saga of titular entries unearthed which were also listed for Sony’s current system as well. But as we know now following the software’s release, the respected titles also came to other platforms as well. So the same can also be expected for Sister’s Location coming to Xbox and Switch simultaneously.
In other Five Nights at Freddy’s-related news, the spin-off virtual reality entry Help Wanted was recently announced to be shipping to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Oculus Quest. You can read the full report by heading here.
