The PlayStation 5 Pro has been rumored to launch in late 2024 as multiple leaks have surfaced over the last few months. New information about the upgraded PS5 console has come out suggesting its release date and other specs for it.

According to known insider, Jeff Grubb, The PlayStation 5 Pro does exist and it will most likely launch in September 2024. Grubb also says it would support DLSS-like machine learning to improve images.

“The big thing here, like the big feature that this system would support, is Sony’s own proprietary DLSS-like solution, where they use their own machine learning to improve images so they can run things at a really high resolution and really high frame rate, and they would include their own hardware in the PS5 Pro to do this.”

Jeff Grubb also speculates that the PlayStation 5 Pro will have a $600 USD price tag. You can catch Grubb saying this on his podcast:

With the PlayStation 5 Slim design being released this year, it is likely Sony is planning to release their most powerful console next year.
