PlayStation reveals 007 First Light State of Play presentation set for Wednesday

It’s the start of a new month, which means new games and presentations from some of the major publishers. Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a State of Play exclusively for 007 First Light from IO Interactive.

The 007 First Light State of Play presentation will feature a deep dive into its gameplay, showcasing James Bond’s upcoming espionage action-adventure thrill ride.

The State of Play will go live on Wednesday, September 3, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Expect to see over 30 minutes of gameplay featuring a playthrough of the first mission in 007 First Light. The action includes everything from high-speed car chases to on-foot stealth sequences and shootouts.

007 First Light is set to release in 2026 for Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Just like Borderlands 4, it looks like PlayStation has the marketing rights for the new James Bond adventure.
