It has been a week since Game Freak and the Pokemon Company released Pokemon Legends: Z-A on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Today, the company announced that Pokemon Legends: Z-A has sold over 5.8 million copies in that timeframe.

Approximately half of the sales for Legends Z-A were on Nintendo Switch 2. A good portion of the sales seem to have been on the Switch 1 to begin with.

During the holiday season, Pokemon Legends: Z-A should sell even more copies as Nintendo has a bundle for the Switch 2, which includes a digital copy of the game. If you are just getting started, check out our official starter guide for the game here.

If you also just happened to start playing Legends: Z-A, there is a free shiny Mareep you can get by doing an easy side mission. Check out our guide here
