Project Scorpio will be available this year in China

Microsoft held a hardware event in China focused on the new Surface devices and the overall China market. They announced the upcoming Project Scorpio is launching this year in China, which is something Microsoft hasn’t done in a while. They [Microsoft] launched Xbox One in September 2014, and later Xbox One S just early this year in China territory.

This is good news for the Chinese folks. They’re getting the console at the same time as everyone else, hopefully Microsoft launches the console to everyone this year.
