At Ubisoft, there are many changes that are on the way for how the publisher operates. Following the €1.16 billion stake investment from Tencent, the firm has properly enacted new measures for the video game giant. Earlier this fall it was revealed a new entity, ‘Vantage Studios’, is to be a new leading developer within Ubisoft to overlook its most popular IPs such as Assassin’s Creed & Far Cry.

Additionally, Rainbow Six is also in the same conversation. Recently, there has been changes to how the IP is being handled with the release of Rainbow Six Siege X earlier this summer. Not only that, but a new game is also in development too. It was reported that a new Rainbow Six in the form of a turn-based experience is also underway internally also.

Of course, a mobile version has been in development for years already. Ubisoft previously held closed playtests years prior, but the launch is coming very soon with February 2026 now on the map. You can watch the release date trailer in the video below:

“The 5v5 PvP competition will be available in three modes – Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch – and take place on maps inspired by Rainbow Six Siege such as Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa, as well as Restaurant and Summit, two mobile-exclusive maps. With more than 20 Operators, including Ash, Mute, and Dokkaebi, players will be able to face off in Ranked matches, Quick Play, and private matches. An onboarding tutorial will get you caught up on the fundamentals, and new content will be added on a seasonal basis,” the blog post shares.

On the official Rainbow Six Mobile blog, it shares details on pre-registration Magnum Blue items to unlock: Avatar, Border & Banner, Charm, 5.7 USG Weapon Skin, Ash Outfit, and R4-C Weapon Skin. You can pre-register on both the App Store & Google Play Store.
