Rebellion Remaking Rogue Trooper

A trailer was uploaded today by Rebellion, the team behind the Sniper Elite franchise to tease that they’re remaking Rogue Trooper for current-gen consoles.
Released back in 2006, Rogue Trooper set a milestone for it’s videogame adaptation of comic books. In the game you play as a blue-skinned soldier named Rogue set in the battlefields of Nu Earth. With the use of third-person, cover based shooting, you must avenge your three fallen comrades against the colonial Nort Regime. For being the only Genetic Infantryman (GI) and with the immunity against the planet’s poisonous atmosphere, Rogue is a one-man army for his thirst for revenge!

Rogue Trooper being the first of many title developed by 2000 AD games to possibly open up to other title such as Judge Dredd and Sláine. As of right now there is no release date for Rogue Trooper with the only information from the teaser being “Coming Soon”. Rogue Trooper Redux will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
