Hello everyone! Rectify Gaming looks entirely different, after going through multiple layouts I think we finally found a long term look to our website. You may look at the homepage and wonder to yourself where do i begin? I will walk you through some new features we have and some good old ones we used to have.
As you know, right when you get onto the site you’ll notice a big change already. We have the menu on the top and as you scroll down it comes down with you so you don’t have to go all the way up again to go somewhere else. On every article you can now see the author before clicking, views, and tags.
As you scroll down you will see options to look at other news such as some of our first posts when the site launched in 2013, or you can do most views, comments, and so much more. Towards the bottom you will see 5 reviews that we have done and that will be updated from time and time again and you will see popular categories.
Now, this is one of my favorite new features to Rectify Gaming. Ever since we left Enjin we never had a connected forum so we had to use places like reddit but they never seemed to work out. Our forums allow you to discuss anything and we gave games like Halo and Pokemon go it’s own section. Once we get more members we will consider adding more forums.
Another cool part about the forums you can add people, create your own group and discuss with each other. Another cool addition is the chat room on the bottom right, we want to test this out and see how it will go but you can view it from anywhere on the website. Not only is there a group chat but you can private message users.
How to access the forums: Menu>Social>Forums and you should be there.
UPCOMING UPDATES:
Another cool addition that will be coming to our website is hub pages for every game we review. It will feature our reviews, have the developers, publishers, news towards the game, and more.
As we focus towards the future we want to support the competitive community so be sure to lookout for a new tournament bracket system. There is no time table yet but it will be coming soon. We have lots of eSports stuff planned.
We want to help our streamers make it easier to catch their streams so we will be adding a event calendar that you can check for updates and to see who is streaming and what time they will be streaming. This update will be coming in the very near future.
We are looking at ways to support our good friends over at Mulehorn Gaming and Njoy. Stay tuned for that as well.
This entire update was for the viewer, the community, and more importantly for YOU. We want to make your experience better. We will always look into future updates to make our site good looking and providing useful features.
