Red Dead Redemption 2 enhanced version is still planned, insiders suggest

Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Redemption will be getting an enhanced version for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and a release on mobile devices for the first time. It has been rumored for a while now that Red Dead Redemption 2 is on the list to get an enhanced version and a release on the Switch 2.

After the news broke about the first Red Dead Redemption, many have been speculating that the sequel will come soon.

According to NateTheHate, he has reiterated that he was told Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 and an enhanced version for PS5 and Xbox. In the post on X (Twitter), he mentions “I was told RDR2, specifically”.

Rockstar Games has not hinted at anything regarding an upgraded version of Red Dead Redemption 2 yet. However, it’s almost expected at some point.

In other news, GTA 6 has been delayed to November 19, 2026, which could allow more time for Rockstar to perfect the game.
