Remedy Entertainment’s obscure third-person action title Control release nearly two weeks ago and while fans are still trying to take in the atmosphere of the current game, the team over at the Finnish studio are already talking about what is next for the developer’s latest project. Over on the game’s community blog, Remedy announced the full roadmap that is planned for game leading halfway into next year.

First off, the team aware of fans on the PC version who already crafted their own home remedy for photo mode has confirmed that a full supported feature is currently in the works and paved a release timeframe for later this coming Fall. Leaning in towards this December, Remedy Entertainment plans to introduce some end game content that is currently vacant from the base game currently.

While players do have the opportunity to clean up on missed objectives and unlocking the remaining abilities, the studio shares that this ‘Expedition’ will push players to the limit with this new experience. Investigating a new Formation alongside Security Chief Arish, Remedy suggests that players must have both the gear and the abilities to match with this new challenge. Adding on, the content will be a freebie for all owners of the game.

Moving onto the expansions, Remedy Entertainment explains that these two new add-ons will introduce players to new parts of The Oldest House along with fresh story missions, enemies, and new game mechanics. Early 2020 will be met with The Foundation, where the description for the DLC reads that “at the request of the ever-mysterious Board, Jesse must explore what lies beneath the Bureau as she returns order to the Foundation and the Oldest House itself.”

Then onto mid 2020 will be the release of AWE which shares to introduce the Investigations Sector: Jesse finds her way into the new location and learns of the Altered World Events that the Bureau has tapped into. Expected for the two pieces of downloadable content, each will run for a price when Remedy is ready to discuss more on the in-game additions.
