S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Arrives On Nintendo Switch This Halloween

The team at Ukrainian-based studio GSC Game World is still working out the final stretch of what will ultimately be S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Previously, the developer confirmed that the game will be coming this September. However, that was until July where the game studio rescheduled the sequel’s release. Now, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set to launch in November 2024.

Amid the wait time for the new game, GSC Game World did showcase more of the setting for its newest release. As part of a feature for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the firm elaborated on the unique setting and the Ukrainian voice over work for the release. Atop of that, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy was released on Xbox & PlayStationpreviously too.

In a recent reveal, GSC Game World shared that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy is now coming to Nintendo Switch just in time for Halloween. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

This most dangerous place on Earth became even more mysterious after an obscure accident in 2006. Anomalies with precious artifacts, starving mutants and greedy thugs have flooded these lands along with stalkers searching for a new life and ways to get rich… Feel as one of them in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl!” the Ninendo eShop overview reads.

“Great Emission, the biggest anomalous energy blowout from the time of the Second Incident at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, has shaken the world again and reshaped the Zone. To investigate its cause and prevent future cataclysms is your only chance to survive in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky,” the description for the prequel adds.

“A military expedition to the center of the Zone has mysteriously disappeared. To figure out the reason and status of the personnel is your task as Major Degtyarev, a Security Service of Ukraine operative in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Prypiat,” the synopsis for the third game gathered on the Nintendo eShop says.
