Sega has been busy releasing many games over the last few years with Sonic Frontiers being the biggest Sonic game as of late and Sonic Superstars as the latest game to come out. Recently, Sega announced Sonic Dream Team, an exclusive 3D Platformer for the Apple Arcade making it available on iPad, iPhone, Mac, and Apple TV.

Sega revealed they are planning to create multiple “cutting-edge triple-A titles” that push the boundaries of traditional gaming experiences. A document from SegaSammy revealed the company is working on its first ‘Super Game that is planned to be released by March 2026 with an expected budget of $800M

The document says the Super Game would be a game that stands head and shoulders above your normal games.

“As the name implies, a ‘Super Game’ involves the concept of a game that stands head and shoulders above normal games”
