Shovel Knight continues to be a part of the platform-fighter surge. This time, he’s bringing along a few friends.
Developer Blue Mammoth Games and publisher Ubisoft announced today that Shovel Knight will be a playable character in Brawlhalla upon release. In addition, Shovel Knight will receive skins to look like Plague Knight, Specter Knight, King Knight, and Dark Knight. These skins will add additional animations and effects to Shovel Knight’s move set.
Shovel Knight has been garnering plenty of attention this year, starting with his addition as an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Shovel Knight is also a playable character in Rivals of Aether, another platform-fighter developed by Dan Fornace.
In a YouTube video, the developers shared extra details on what to expect from Brawlhalla. You can see the video here.
