Slime Rancher 2 fully releases on September 23

Developer Monomi Park announced that Slime Rancher 2 will leave early access and will fully release on September 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. 

The full release of Slime Rancher 2 will feature new content and gameplay updates, including Quantum Drones, a twist on a fan-favorite which can help automate your ranch but can also roam the island to find resources, plenty of additional blueprints offering decor variants, gadgets, and upgrades, and new sections of the Labyrinth to explore.

Slime Rancher 2 Physical Edition

To celebrate 10 years of the Slime Rancher series, Monomi Park announced its partnership with iam8bit to release physical editions of Slime Rancher 2. The physical edition wouldn’t release until January 14, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The Slime Rancher 2 physical edition will include a physical copy of the game on a region-free disc and a fold-out poster featuring custom art. It will cost $34.99, and pre-orders are available now on iam8bit.

Those who pre-order Slime Rancher 2 will receive a free digital download code for the official soundtrack in the box.
