During CES 2025, Sony made a few announcements for its adaptations including Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, an anime based on the video game’s multiplayer mode, and a new trailer for The Last of Us Season 2.
Sony Pictures announced they are developing a live-action Helldivers and Horizon Zero Dawn movie. The Horizon film will be partnered with Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions. No other details were revealed for either of these films besides the fact they are in the works.
Helldivers became very popular in 2024 for Sony as Helldivers 2 was a PlayStation 5 console exclusive and reached its biggest player base on PC. It even sold over 12 million copies within its first few months of release.
