The ongoing wave of PlayStation 5 accessories remains to continue well into the new year. Last year, Sony Interactive Entertainment rolled out specialized peripherals including the Concord & Astro Bot DualSense controllers. Additionally, there was also the PlayStation 5 Chroma Collection alongside the Fortnite DualSense controller as well.
Later on, PlayStation 5 is also prepared to be blessed with new themed items for Monster Hunter Wilds. In Asian regions, fans can get their hands on a decorated DualSense controller alongside the PlayStation 5 covers as well. Not to mention the prepared release for the Helldivers 2 Dualsense controller coming just ahead of the game’s anniversary in February next month.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a new Midnight Collection is on the way for other PlayStation 5 peripherals – PlayStation Portal ($199.99), DualSense Edge ($199.99), Pulse Explore ($149.99) and Pulse Elite ($199.99). Pre-orders go live on January 16th. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“The latest PS5 accessories get a new look with the Midnight Black Collection – bringing the galaxy-inspired Midnight Black colorway to the PlayStation Portal remote player, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds,” Sony Interactive Entertainment global marketing vice president Isabelle Tomatis says.
“Each Midnight Black accessory features a unique, rich shade of black, with sleek detailing on various buttons and accents such as the PlayStation logo. The Midnight Black design extends to the included charging case for Pulse Explore earbuds, charging hanger for Pulse Elite headset, and carrying case for DualSense Edge controller. The Pulse Elite wireless headset and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds will also include a felt grey carrying case.”
