Although eyeing the PlayStation 5 platform so far, the system shows to be starting off pretty well. In that, the latest iteration was previously reported to outsell its predecessor within the first fiscal year, IGN indicated before. But more recently from Ampere Analysis tells that the PlayStation 5 is currently selling 2:1 compared to its opposing Xbox Series X|S competitors. So far, the momentum is expected to be elevated leading forward.
In terms of new initiatives from Sony Interactive Entertainment, the PlayStation company earlier this year established a new partnership is Iredto to work on the anti-cheat measure for PlayStation 5. “Denuvo, the leader in video games protection, offers its Anti-Cheat solution through this program to publishers and developers whose games are available on PlayStation 5”
But in a new statement from corporate Sony, a new program being operated upon internally reveals efforts to deliver advanced AI for the upcoming games coming to PlayStation 5.
Sony AI, which we established last year, has begun a collaboration with PlayStation that will make game experiences even richer and more enjoyable. By leveraging reinforcement learning, we are developing Game AI Agents that can e a player’s in-game opponent or collaboration partner.

Regarding the upcoming lineup of titles for PlayStation 5, some heavy-hitters already graced fans in prior announcements. However, just over half of those were yet to be unveiled yet. In a interview with Wired, Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios Head Hermen Hulst disclosed that 25 potential IPs are currently in the pipeline, and half are still in the dark to its user base.
Recently, it was discovered that new details for the coming hardware revision for PlayStation 5 is more than likely already commenced.
