In Starfield, you can customize your ship with new features to make it better with flying, fighting, and how it looks. New players may wonder where they can modify their ship since the game can be overwhelming when first jumping in after doing just a few missions.

Where can I modify my ship?

To modify a ship in Starfield you can go to New Atlantis located in Jemison and there should be an option to Talk To The Ship Services Technician.

Once you load into the landing area of your ship, you’ll see the Ship Services Technician straight ahead and you’ll want to talk to him. Select I’d like to view and modify my ships.

Once you select that option you’ll be brought to the customization screen where you can explore ways to improve your ship. To finish just back out of it and it’ll ask you if you are sure about purchasing the parts. Doing this will help you unlock the Chief Engineer Achievement on Xbox Series XlS worth 10 Gamerscore.
