Nintendo Switch owners are already able to experience the sequel to Ubisoft’s 2014 South Park game The Fractured But Whole, but now it seems we might get the first installment coming to the Switch.
In a recent financial report, Ubisoft has South Park: The Stick of Truth listed for the Nintendo console. Obsidian’s title, originally released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC, was an instant success for Matt Stone’s and Trey Parker’s videogame adaptation of their popular television show. The game was later ported for Playstation 4 and made backwards compatible for Xbox One.
Stated in the financial report, the switch version of the fantasy-RPG is expect to release between July and September. But with no exact date for when we will see the game available.
It makes sense as those who own the title on the Switch on are willing to buy the first title. Similar to Wolfenstein: The New Order possibly coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point, fans who enjoyed the sequel are up to grab the first.
