In an attempt, a working attempt to continue the good first impressions for the Epic Games Store, the publisher has announced that underwater explorer Subnautica will be on the house until December 27 for those who want to grab the game. You can grab the freebie here.

Upon the debut of the game marketplace from the company behind Unreal Engine, it was also announced that there will be an influx of unique titles that Epic will be available to purchase: for example Team Meat’s upcoming Super Meat Boy Forever and A44 Games’ Ashen, and Mobius Digital’s Outer Wilds.

Epic Games recently announced as well that the company will work well into 2019 to continue support for cross-play to make the feature more accessible for developers to tackle. Epic Games the past year have left a great impact on the industry seeing from the major success of Fortnite and now their online games retailer, for what holds next for the publisher will be exciting reaching their next move.

Subnautica is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
