
The currently ongoing Summer Game Fest has been nothing less than exhilarating for the gaming industry currently as organizer Geoff Keighley has showcased the anticipated announcement for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 alongside introducing the 2021 scheduled Unreal Engine 5 which will be shipping next year. Now, there is a new bulk of titles we can expect to see in the coming weeks.
According to a new announcement made today, Summer Game Fest in collaboration with Double Fine Productions and IAm8Bit has announced two Day of the Dev showcases. What this new event will be spans across two dates in the coming months that will feature upcoming projects from independent developers in the industry.
The first is announced to be scheduled for June 22 and the second to follow suit on July 20. Here is the current roster of teams that will be participating in the coming Day of the Dev showcases:

As of reporting, the Day of the Dev is still in search for more partnered studios to showcase their new project in the approaching events. The group shares that more teams alongside publishers will be announced for the event’s lineup as we approach closer to the event. Among some titles that are expected to be world reveals, there are some we are certain to see later on. One being Sabotage Studio’s Sea of Stars. The Chrono Trigger-inspired RPG set in the universe of the team’s first release, The Messenger. During a recent update on the game’s Kickstarter campaign, Sabotage told that the original composer for its influence Yasunori Mitsuda will be involved with the game’s soundtrack alongside Rainbowdragoneyes.
