One of the most recognized series from the Nintendo 64 era have already made its way to Nintendo Switch with the release of Night Dive Studios’ recent port of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter back in March following the title’s listing on the Nintendo eShop. At the same time as the discovery of the first game coming to Nintendo’s platform, the sequel was also listed for a release some time in the coming future.
Now, Night Dive Studios has revealed that Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be coming to Nintendo Switch in just one week from today.

As like the predecessor which already release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the port coming to Switch will also feature some enhancements that the original lacked like better graphical output, improved particle effects, and in-depth texturing. Alike all versions that released on competing platforms, the game is also listed for $19.99.
Looking ahead for the series, it leaves the question if Night Dive will also pursue the follow-up title Turok: Rage Wars or the third installment Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. Neither Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC has yet to receive a proper port for the mentioned titles; so if the studio plans to remaster the succeeding titles, expect a version on there before Switch.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be available on August 9, 2019 for Nintendo Switch.
