A feature on the PlayStation 5 is getting removed that some may have forgotten about or didn’t know it quite existed. This Fall, the Accolades feature on PlayStation 5 will be getting removed as it hasn’t seen the amount of usage Sony anticipated.

This feature allowed players to give feedback to the people you played with. For example, if you had a positive experience playing with someone in a online multiplayer game you can show appreciation by sending them an Accolade.

When giving an Accolade to someone it would be sent anonymously so they wouldn’t know who it was and you wouldn’t be able to send it to the same player more than once within a 12 hour period.

It’s clear that many PlayStation 5 players didn’t care much for the feature, but it was a nice experiment by Sony to try something different.
