Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware, released its latest financial results and shared that in their “Future Outlook” that FromSoftware is currently developing multiple games in the development pipeline. Two games the studio has been working on for the Switch 2 are The Dusk Bloods and Elden Ring Tarnished Edition.
The company mentions that both The Dusk Bloods and Elden Ring Tarnished Edition are slated to release in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Previously, Elden Ring was expected to release in 2025 for the Switch 2, but it sounds like performance issues may have caused the game to be delayed at least a few months. The Tarnished Edition comes with all the previous DLC the game had received.
The Dusk Bloods is a Switch 2 exclusive and has always been planned to release in 2026. The game is a PvPvE game with online multiplayer at its core where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes
Nintendo held a Partner Showcase a week ago, and some felt it was underwhelming. Many expected that the potential of either of these games would be shown.
Are you looking forward to The Dusk Bloods?
