If you were looking to acquired a Meta Quest 2 VR headset your might be pressured to buy one faster than you thought. It was announced today that the prices of the 128 GB & 256 GB Meta Quest 2 headsets will be getting price increases starting on August 1st, 2022.

The Meta Quest 2 (128 GB) will be $399.99 USD and the 256 GB version will be $499.99 USD. This is a $100.00 increase for these headsets as well. On a positive note, every purchase will include Beat Saber at no additional cost.

Not only will the headsets go up in price, but the Meta Quest 2 accessories and refurbished units as well. the major reasoning to these price increases is that it has become more expensive to make and ship their products and by adjusting the price, Oculus can continue to grow their investment in new product development.

At the same time, the costs to make and ship our products have been on the rise. By adjusting the price of Quest 2, we can continue to grow our investment in groundbreaking research and new product development that pushes the VR industry to new heights.
