The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 Trailer Reveals July 27 Airing

On the course of Netflix releases this summer, the firm is preparing for more content for its namesake video game adaptations. At Ubisoft Forward last month, it was revealed that ‘Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix’ is aiming to release later this fall. However, a clear release date was not issued then unfortunately.

But, Sonic Prime Season 2 did get a mid July release date scheduled for later this month, Additionally, the same Sonic Central showcase featured Sonic Prime Dash also coming to Netflix. As for avid players and the greater Netflix audience, The Witcher Season 3 Volume 1 aired just at the end of June. This would mark the beginning of the end for this arc for Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia.

Even on Twitter, the official account for Netflix’s The Witcher coined in on Cavill’s remaining time as the protagonist. On Thursday, Netflix uploaded the next trailer for Season 3 Volume 2. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Destiny brought them together. Dangerous forces are trying to tear them apart. Geralt and Yennefer fight to keep Ciri safe as war brews on the Continent,” the brief synopsis for Season 3 reads via Netflix. For those unfamiliar on the politics behind the show’s casting, Henry Cavill is to step away from the role following Season 3 and be re-casted by Liams Hemsworth moving forward.

In other upcoming projects for Netflix, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon releases this December. In extension to the new space epic, Snyder himself revealed a full-scale RPG is in development that shares the same universe as the forthcoming motion picture. You can read the full report by hearing here.
