The Xbox Games Showcase was the most-watched Xbox show ever

Microsoft revealed the latest Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield direct was the most watched Xbox show in history. Within the first week of the broadcast (June 11 – 18), they saw over 92 million views across their first ever double feature, trailers, and segments from the shows. It was a 38% rise in viewership over last year’s show.

The Xbox Showcase featured Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Fable, Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga and many other anticipated titles come to Xbox Series XlS over the next year. In total the presentation revealed 27 games with 13 being from Xbox Game Studios and 21 being available on Xbox Game Pass and other consoles.

Microsoft’s next stop is Gamescom in August where they plan to bring their biggest booth presence ever to show off games coming out in the near future. Our assumption is that Starfield and Forza Motorsport will be part of their Gamescom presence this year among other third-party games.
