THQ Nordic formally announced its Kung-Fu Fable RPG Biomutant today at Gamescom. It has been teased previously, but we finally got our first glimpse at the creative new game genre
The trailer was only a cinematic and no gameplay was shown. It seems that Biomutant’s story campaign is going,to be centered on animals thatcan mutate/augment themselves with multiple types of weapons and abilities. One example of this is literal finger guns. And yes, I mean guns which turn into fingers.
In Biomutant’s, the official description lets “players can alter abilities and appearance with powerful mutations, bionic prosthetics and weapons. Grow claws, sprout wings, or attach a robotic leg – each choice will impact the way your hero plays in real-time combat that blends melee martial arts and firearms.”
Set in an imaginative post-apocalyptic universe, Biomutantis a kung-fu fable filled with fantastic creatures to discover, dangerous factions to navigate, and colorful worlds to explore with mechs, paragliders, balloons, mounts, jet skis and more.
All we know is that Biomutant will be coming to current gen consoles in 2018. Hopefully, we’ll get a gameplay trailer soon as it does look very intriguing.  The cinematic trailer below will need to hold you over for now. Let us know what you think.
