Saving some room for a surprise announcement, Nintendo today during the company’s scheduled Direct presentation revealed that the anticipated 3D remake of 1995 titular title Trials of Mana will be arriving this coming April for Nintendo Switch.

Also listed for PC as well as for Sony’s current platform, the game alike its initial top-down, 16-bit version follows the same plot of choosing your adventurous duo and unfolding your story which will connect with the other two parallel group that is available to select at the beginning of the journey.

Pushing the original Super Famicom title to the modern generation of hardware also comes with a bevy of technological adjustments to appeal towards today’s standards of gaming: such as a completely new three-dimensional makeover, an enhanced combat system, and entirely reworked soundtrack of the initial mid-90s score. Other appreciated features such as character voice acting has been implemented and additional dialogue options have been inserted into the upcoming remake.

Balancing your classes between light and dark will also play a major role in the main progression system that was implemented to suit every respected playstyle. While you continue to work towards your class, this will also affect the appearance of your character the more you expand for one specified category.

Are you excited for the return of Trials of Mana?

Trials of Mana will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 24, 2020.
