Now less than one day until the PlayStation 5 is finally in the hands of millions of highly-anticipated fans, we are still learning plenty on the software that is arriving to the next-generation platform. In that, it is suggested that the title Astro’s Playroom releasing alongside the PlayStation 5 will be receiving additional content in post-launch.

More interestingly, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the game back in June during the PlayStation 5 showcase advertising the experience to be a tech demonstration for the DualSense controller and will be pre-downloaded in every system. Essentially the Wii Sports for the PlayStation 5, Astro’s Playroom while new offers plenty of nods to the PlayStation legacy when exploring.

According to Trophy list which went live for the game on PSNProfile, and uncovered by Gematsu, there is an expected “DLC Trophy Pack” for Astro’s Playroom. Even more, it is listed as the first with more expected to follow. Here are the three Trophies available from the add-on pack:

Play Has No Limits!
Cleared the game and got the New Generation artefacts.

Run Astro Run!
Got a total Speed Run time of 7 minutes or under.

Gravity Daze!
Made the CPU Chip punch the glass sphere, sending at least 10 Bots flying.

For the sake of not spoiling or unveiling too much for the remainder of the game, Rectify Gaming will lot share the Trophies available for the base game of Astro’s Playroom. But suggested from the description of the three add-trophies, it simply reiterates on the original title as you replay what is already available.

For now, there is no definite way to determine what the cost will be for ‘DLC Trophy Pack 1’ if any. The game is available for free, so the DLC might simply be patched in for the game at a later time. Perhaps as more DLCs follow this, there might be new levels or experiences which ask for a payment to be made.

What do you think could come to Astro’s Playroom in post-launch?

Astro’s Playroom launches for PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020 & November 19, 2020.
