Tom Clancy’s The Division was first introduced in 2016 with its first installation with the sequel coming a few years later. Since then fans have been curious to see if a third entry would be made. Today, Ubisoft confirmed that The Division 3 is in development and will be led by Julian Gerighty who is now the Executive Producer.
This was announced via a press release where it’s said that Julian would oversee all games and products, including Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 from Massive Entertainment.
In the Press Release from Ubisoft, it shares that Julian will oversee projects like The Division Resurgance which is coming to mobile.
“Now, he’s setting his sights on Tom Clancy’s The Division 3, as well as the plethora of other projects set in The Division universe, including the mobile game Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, and the survival-action shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland.”
Currently, Massive Entertainment is releasing Star Wars Outlaws in 2024 so it is unsure how far the project is in development. The announcement did not come with screenshots or video.
