A new report claims that Ubisoft currently has no plans for The Division 3 and we’ll have to make do with what we have in the first two installments of the franchise.

Insider Gaming reported that a new mainline game for The Division series is not in the works. This comes as a surprise after the games debut in 2016 and the sequel coming out in 2019 selling millions of copies. However, there is a spinoff in development and it’s The Division Heartland with Red Storm Entertainment developing it.

The game will be free-to-play that features PvPvE gameplay for up to 45 players as well as a full PvE mode. Heartland is planned to release sometime in 2023 after it was initially supposed to release in 2022.

The Division Heartland will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XlS, Xbox One and PC.
