A new Nintendo Direct has been rumored since the start of June with Alannah Pearce leaking via a Twitch stream that there will be one held on June 29th. It has now been reported that a smaller Nintendo Direct is coming that will focus primarily on third-party games for the Switch.

This report comes from a Spanish Games Magazine, Revista Manual as journalist, Nacho Requena leaks during a Twitch stream that we should expect a Nintendo Direct this coming Tuesday, June 28th. The journalist reports that there will be a Persona game presented for the Switch along with another game that has been available on all other platforms for at least 4 years now.
VGC, the outlet who translated the information that Nacho revealed on stream also connects the statement of a four year old game with Red Dead Redemption 2 as Rockstar would be planning to bring it to Switch finally.
During this rumored direct it’s safe to assume Ubisoft would show up with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope which is aimed to launch this year. It would make sense to see more gameplay for Sparks of Hope and get an official release date soon.
I guess we will find out soon if we are going to see an official Nintendo Direct this week.
