Developer Warhorse Studios announced its new projects. They revealed that an open-world Middle-earth RPG and a new Kingdom Come adventure title are in development.
Based on the announcement that was shared on social media, it’s suggested that the open-world Middle-earth RPG will be set in the world of The Lord of the Rings.
Warhorse Studios previously released Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which was well received by winning a BAFTA game award for best narrative. It sold over 5 million copies within its first year of release, Embracer revealed in February.
The assumption is that the new Kingdom Come will be “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3”, but that’s not going to be confirmed anytime soon. Embracer Group also announced plans to spin off Fellowship Entertainment, a new business unit designed to double down on the company’s biggest franchises. IPs include Dead Island, Metro, Remnant, The Hobbit, Tomb Raider, and more.
