Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the next big release from Activision and Treyarch. The game was announced in June, and very little information has been shared since then. However, a recent leak indicates the release date for Black Ops 7 will be November 14, 2025.
It has already been confirmed that the next Call of Duty will release on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Many fans are wondering since the Microsoft acquisition if the game will finally be coming to the Nintendo Switch platform.
Is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2?
At launch, based on recent reports, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2. Since Microsoft acquired Activision, there was a deal made with Nintendo to bring the Call of Duty franchise to the Nintendo platform for 10 years. It’s unknown when that agreement will start taking place, but it should be soon.
Since the Switch 2 is launching in June, various factors may explain why Call of Duty won’t be available at launch. The developers likely didn’t get a development kit in time, or they just might need more time to port the game to the console.
