You can now buy a Wii U GamePad on it’s own in Japan

After 3 years of the Wii U  being available to buy, Nintendo is finally letting people buy a Wii U GamePad separate from the Wii U console. If you live in Japan that is and it will cost 12.8K Yen which is about $120, keep in mind that only one GamePad can be used at a time on the Wii U. I do find it weird that Nintendo is not letting people in the west buy the GamePad on it’s own yet, but hopefully they will soon.
