The Nintendo Switch has been graced with a fast growing list of games since its debut more than a year ago. But with the launch of the Online Service in early September, there hasn’t been much that graced the hybrid platform.
According to NintendoHOME on Twitter, the long awaited YouTube App is soon to arrive on the Nintendo eShop as the icon for the leaked application have been posted on the account recently.

Though the tweet states that the app will debut on November 8th, there isn’t a solid enough foundation to confirm the app releasing or not. We’ll have to be patient the next few days to see if the rumor is true or not. Though there’s no official word given from Nintendo, this does leave reassurance for more entertainment apps to be coming to the gaming platform.
While we already have Hulu & comic app InkyPen soon to arrive to the platform later this month, there’s still plenty of room for more apps to occupy the Switch’s store. With YouTube possibly be coming, hopefully we can expect more apps like Netflix or even Spotify to follow the trend shortly after.
