In the past, there has been continuous talks of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment/WB Games to sell its assets to better the load for its parent companies Warner Media and AT&A. During that, it was said studios such as Traveller’s Tales, NetherRealm Studios, Rocksteady Studios, and Monolith Productions were up for grabs as Microsoft’s interest grew on the opportunity, one report told.

Later, Warner Media in a statement said that it will not be selling the aforementioned studios and plans to bolster its network of teams later on. But with new claims surfacing on potentially selling once again, it was announced that Electronic Arts acquired Playdemic from WB Games for $1.4 billion just recently. According to a new string of claims from Windows Central’s Jez Corden, he told on the Xbox Two podcast Microsoft is looking at WB Games once again.

Also being corroborated by @Klobrille as well, it was said that the Xbox company is looking at Traveller’s Tales and NetherRealm Studios to buy from Warner Bros. Games. But, Remi Sklar, WB Games Senior Vice President of Global Communications when speaking to The Gamer said that the firm has no intentions to sell either of the developers.

“I can confirm NetherRealm Studios and TT Games will continue to remain a part of Warner Bros. Games, and all are included in the Warner Media Discovery merger,” Sklar told the outlet in a statement.

While Microsoft is now certainly not after either WB Games subsidiaries currently after Sklar’s statement verifies not to be the case, it does not equate to no purchases being made. In fact, Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty recently told that it is not halting plans for acquisitions until Xbox has quarterly first-party releases. You can read the full report by heading here.
