Resident Evil Re:Verse Now Scheduled To Arrive In 2022, Capcom Announces

In the up and coming for the May release of Resident Evil 8 this past spring, developer Capcom prepared more than just the eight installment for the two decade-old franchise. In that, the Japanese firm unveiled Resident Evil Re:Verse – a multiplayer shooter that casts series favorite characters against one another in an interactive experience.

However, the project was slated to ship in July later on. But, the game did previously hold a beta previously back in April. Despite the pre-release testing for a selection of users that pre-ordered Resident Evil 8 though, the multiplayer game is not arriving until next year now. According to Capcom on Twitter, 2022 is the new expectancy for Resident Evil Re:Verse.

“The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience,” the team shares on Twitter.

“For players who purchased a physical version of Resident Evil Village, we recommend that you keep track of the included Resident Evil Re:Verse download code or add it to your account now so that you are ready to play when the game launches next year,” Capcom adds in a separate tweet of the same thread.
