In terms of the free game program on behalf of PlayStation Plus, November 2021 was certainly exciting with the plans that Sony Interactive Entertainment has paved last month. At the time, PlayStation VR celebrated its 5th year since release and handed over three virtual reality titles for the peripheral: The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall.

Additionally, PlayStation Plus users also had the opportunity to redeem three regular titles across PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 which are Knockout City, First Class Trouble, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. But now entering December ahead of Christmas, Sony Interactive Entertainment is expected to reveal its last plans of free games for this year.

On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed three new games coming to the subscription with an extension on the virtual reality games. Yes, subscribers will receive an extra month to download The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall. Alongside that, Godfall, Lego DC Super-Villains, and Mortal Shell will be the newest free installs for the month.

Noted, Godfall: Challenger Edition is the only title offering a native PlayStation 5 version. While the Counterplay Games title is also providing a PlayStation 4 version too, both Lego DC Super-Villains, and Mortal Shell will only be in the form of its original PlayStation 4 versions. Additionally, the edition for Godfall includes all endgame content for the game: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials.

For those unfamiliar with Mortal Shell, our critic Michael Merchant pens his time playing the game that “Mortal Shell is more than a simple Dark Souls clone.” Adding, “Mortal Shell has two unique mechanics that make this a perfect entry into that genre.” You can read the full review by heading here.
