In the realm of interactive entertainment, video games continue to evolve into so much more beyond just the medium it is crafted for. In the past few years, we witnessed beloved titles evolve into exciting television series and some released impressively on the big screen as well. And that is expected to come to Apex Legends sometime as nodded by Respawn Entertainment. In that, then-game director Chad Grenier disclosed interest in the possibility for Apex Legends becoming a TV series.

However, he went on to elaborate that he is interested in the move when more for the foundation of the Titanfall spin-off is readied before exploring the venture. Since then, we witnessed the series break into a four-issue comic series from Dark Horse Comics, Apex Legends Overtime. But now, news on the mentioned TV show could be just around the corner.

As many can recall, the League of Legends-based Arcane television series launched in November. Well, @Jehadyel put together a version of the Netflix series’ intro based on the Legends from Apex Legends and Senior Producer Tim Lewison expanded on the matter telling there is similar news to come in January.

Gathered from the statement given by Lewison, it is suggested that Apex Legends is to be adapted into a Netflix series. However, not all the pieces are there to confirm such just yet – only a simple nod to the possibility. For now, take the post as a gesture to the opportunity until properly announced by Respawn Entertainment or the respected streaming platform.

The most interesting is how the story could expand for the alleged series. Will it take place actively as Apex Legends will evolve? Will it follow earlier on in the storyline? How much Titanfall can be infused in this? All that and more is to be answer potentially later on in 2022.

Noted, this coming February will mark the third anniversary for the battle royale. If we get a confirmation for the show next month, the chances a potential full-length trailer is to ship then is in favor of excited fans. Would you be excited for a Apex Legends TV series if it becomes a reality?
