The Ascent DLC ‘Cyber Heist’ Is Available Now

Although the Xbox Series X gameplay showcase back in 2020 was underwhelming in terms of scheduled first-party titles for many, the firm did feature some highly-anticipated new IPs that would push the envelope for the new console generation coming later on. One of those being Neon Giant’s The Ascent. The game comes from a small group of developers with an ambition to offer an AAA experience with its world building.

Structured as a top-down RPG, players are given a new cyberpunk dystopia cluttering the entire screen of neon lights and layers of smoke. Originally, the game launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, it did not take too long following the game’s release until it was listed for PlayStation and later shipped for the platform.

This week, however, Neon Giant & Curve Games launches a new add-on experience for The Ascent ‘Cyber Heist’. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:

“Kira, your former employer, has a new top-secret job, and as a newly independent contractor how could you refuse? Venture outside of your familiar arcology into a brand new arcology owned by the Malhorst-Gelb Group,” the synopsis reads on Steam. “There’s some new ground-breaking tech ripe for the taking, but you’re not the only one with sights on the prize.
