A new official Ubisoft website for “Project U” is live now, and it is for an unannounced co-op shooter. The link, as found by Comicbook, has really no information about the title other than a statement that reads “Codename “Project U” explores a new concept of session-based co-op shooter, where many players unite to prevail against an overwhelming threat!”.

The closed play test will only be relegated to PC players in western Europe, specifically the following countries: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy. The game will also be entirely in English.

There is no date on when the actual closed test will start, but anyone who wishes to sign up may do so at the link above. No word on what the game may be, but session based against an overwhelming threat” sounds a lot like a 4v1 asymmetrical type of game. We have reached out to Ubisoft for comment.
