Rock Band 4 is getting an expansion and more updates

Harmonix, the developers of Rock Band 4 have announced some details about the game’s future updates. During this Fall, Rock Band 4 will be getting an expansion which will make improvements for the vast music library such as filtering, A basic rating system based on thumbs up or down, and having Xbox 360 ION Drum Rockers/E-kits support. This option will be available by a new adapter created by PDP, who are also releasing a new Rock Band guitar controller around that time. After the expansion, synchronous online multiplayer will be releasing around the holidays. This is only in the early design phase, but hopes to introduce players to a slightly modifies version of quickplay-style matches. More details about the expansion and online multiplayer will be revealed at this years E3.
Next month will be the release of free DLC bandmasters, who will be Miko and Thorn from the game Battleborn, It will be interesting to see how their roles are portrayed since Thorn is more likely going to be a signer, while Miko is a guitarist. Support for a second pedal in drum sets will also be releasing in May.
