The Nintendo Direct took place providing several news and updates on upcoming games releasing over the next few months. Announcements included a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong game, F-Zero 99, and Tomb Raider Remasters. One of the games that was teased earlier this year was a new Princess Peach game and that was announced to be Princess Peach Showtime. This new game featuring one of the iconic Mario characters received gameplay and release date details.
“The leading lady is ready for her spotlight on Nintendo Switch. Just as Princess Peach and her retinue of Toads are attending a show at the Sparkle Theater, the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch take center stage to cause a ruckus. Now it’s up to Peach and Stella, the theater’s guardian, to save the play – and the day. Luckily, Peach has gained some showstopping abilities: She can now use the power of Stella’s ribbon – and she can transform”
In this game, Peach can turn into a Swordfighter, pastry chef, or even can turn into Kung Fu Peach. There are even more transformations the Princess can turn into.
Princess Peach Showtime! comes to Nintendo Switch on March 22, 2024. Pre-orders are available on the Nintendo eShop and at select retailers.
