PAYDAY 3 from Starbreeze and Deep Silver was officially released on September 21, 2023, and the launch is off to a rough start to put it kindly. Players haven’t been able to enjoy the experience the co-op heist shooter has to offer because of its servers being overloaded. Over the last few months, Starbreeze held two beta sessions one being a closed beta and the other being open so they can try to rectify any foreseeable issues.

Starbreeze CEO, Tobias Sjögren put out a statement saying they’re are sorry that the infrastructure didn’t hold up as expected even though it’s impossible to prepare for every scenario they should be able to do better.

There’s no question that Starbreeze is working around the clock to make sure fans will be able to play the much-anticipated shooter. Although, it’s already been two days after release and players are slowly starting to get into lobbies.
