Pikmin 4 has sold over 2 Million units since release

Pikmin 4 was just one of Nintendo’s biggest launches of 2023 which has seen the release of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo released their latest financial results showcasing how well some of their first-party games have sold including Pikmin 4.

Since the release of Pikmin 4 on July 21, 2023, the game has sold 2.61 million units worldwide which beat Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (1.35 million sold) within that same timeframe. The game was very well received on OpenCritic receiving a Mighty Rating at 88 with practically every outlet recommending it.

We had reported in July that Pikmin 4 set a new record for the franchise’s first week in sales in Japan at over 400,000 units sold.
