Ubisoft announced they have renamed their Ubisoft+ subscription plans offering two different options for customers to choose from. When Microsoft was getting close to finalizing its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, one of the issues that the United Kingdom had was that Xbox would have a stranglehold on the cloud gaming market.

To make everything work Microsoft had to make a deal with Ubisoft to inherit Activision Blizzard games and put them as part of Ubisoft+. In the blog post where they announced the rebranding of its subscription services, Ubisoft gave an update on bringing Activision Blizzard Games to Ubisoft+:

Can you tell us anything more about the Activision Blizzard games catalog and when it might be coming?

PT: We know players are excited about that, and I am too. We’re working on the offering right now to make sure it’s the best possible experience for our subscribers, and we’ll have more to share later.

It will be interesting to see how they will handle the Activision Blizzard games on Ubisoft+ as it will only be to stream them via the cloud.
